Highland 99 was built on a simple belief: Malaysian players deserve a betting platform that is honest, secure, and easy to use — with competitive odds, a wide range of games, and service that genuinely understands the Malaysian way of life. That's what we built, and what we continue to improve every single day.
These two things drive every decision we make — from how the platform is designed to how we treat our members.
Highland 99's mission is to provide the safest, fairest, and most enjoyable online Sports Betting and casino platform for Malaysian players — with full transparency in every aspect of our operations, from the odds we offer to bonus terms written in plain language with no hidden conditions.
We believe responsible entertainment is the right of every adult player in Malaysia, and we are committed to ensuring that every interaction with Highland 99 delivers real value to our members.
Highland 99's vision is to be the go-to platform for Malaysian players in Sports Betting and online casino – not through empty promises or aggressive marketing tactics, but through a genuinely better user experience, responsive customer service, and a product that is continuously improved based on feedback from our own player community.
We want highland 99 to be known not just as a platform where people bet, but as a platform that genuinely understands and respects Malaysia's sports and entertainment culture.
Six key reasons why highland 99 is Malaysian players' number one choice for Sports Betting and online casino.
Five principles that guide every decision we make as a platform.
From a simple idea to a platform with over half a million active members – this is the story of highland 99.
Every section of Highland 99 is run by experienced professionals who understand the industry and the needs of Malaysian players.
When we set out to build Highland 99, we were not just building another betting platform. We were building something we ourselves wanted as players — a platform that is honest about the odds it offers, transparent about bonus terms, fast at processing withdrawals, and genuinely in tune with the Malaysian sports and entertainment scene. Five years on, we still hold to that founding principle, even as the platform has grown far beyond what we originally envisioned.
Malaysia has a unique relationship with sports and entertainment. Badminton is more than just a sport to Malaysians – it is part of the national identity. When Lee Zii Jia steps onto the court, or when Pearly and Thinaah battle it out in a tense women's doubles match at the BWF World Tour, the whole country feels it. highland 99 understands how much this means, which is why we have invested heavily in full BWF tournament coverage with real-time odds updates and deep betting markets – not just "who wins" but also set handicaps, point over/under, and specialist markets that give real opportunities to players who truly follow the sport.
The same applies to football. The Malaysian Super League is often overlooked compared to European leagues, but within the Malaysian player community we serve, the domestic league commands serious attention. We provide the same depth of coverage for JDT, Selangor FC, Kedah Darul Aman, and every other Malaysian Super League side as we do for the EPL or La Liga — because we know our players follow this league passionately and deserve quality odds and information to make better betting decisions.
One area we are particularly proud of is the range of payment options we offer. When highland 99 first launched in 2019, digital payment options in Malaysia were still limited. Today, with Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, and FPX all fully supported, virtually every Malaysian can deposit and withdraw at highland 99 using apps already on their phone. No dedicated bank account required, no slow international transfers – just the everyday local Malaysian payment methods you already know.
Security is something we take extremely seriously. We understand that trusting an online platform with your money is a significant decision, and we do not take that trust lightly. Member funds are held in accounts that are completely separate from the company's operating funds – meaning that regardless of any internal operational issues, your money remains safe and available for withdrawal at all times. All personal data and financial transactions are protected with 256-bit SSL encryption, and we conduct regular independent security audits to ensure our protection standards are always at the highest level.
Highland 99's responsible gaming programme is among the most comprehensive in the local Malaysian industry. Players can set their own daily and monthly deposit limits, session loss limits, and session time limits, as well as activate a self-exclusion option instantly through their account settings — no need to contact customer support. We believe players who game responsibly are happier and more loyal in the long run, and that's good for everyone.
Ultimately, Highland 99 is a community. With more than 500,000 active members across Malaysia — from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru, from George Town to Kota Kinabalu — we are a platform that brings together sports and entertainment fans from all walks of life. Every piece of feedback we receive from our members is taken seriously and feeds directly into our platform development. The Highland 99 journey is far from over, and we're genuinely excited to keep growing alongside this remarkable Malaysian player community.
This is not just a tagline – it is the standard we hold ourselves to every day in how we run highland 99.
