Meet the stars that fans and bettors at Highland 99 have their eyes on.

A quick guide to improving your badminton betting success at Highland 99.
Badminton uses a best-of-three sets format. The first player to reach 21 points wins a set (or 30 in a deuce situation). Understanding this is essential for handicap and over/under betting.
Some players have a notably strong or weak record against certain opponents. For example, Lee Zii Jia tends to push Axelsen much harder than most other players do.
Players competing in multiple categories or back-to-back matches over a short period may be carrying fatigue. Fatigue can have a significant impact on performance.
When watching a match live, you can read the momentum of play much more accurately. If the leading player looks visibly fatigued in the second set, that could be your opening to back their opponent at better odds.
Badminton is more than just a sport to Malaysians – it is part of the nation's identity. From the Sidek brothers to the era of Lee Chong Wei who took the world by storm, Malaysia has produced world-class players who have made the entire country proud. Now, a new generation including Lee Zii Jia, Aaron Chia, and doubles pairing Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan continues to fly the Malaysian flag on the international stage.
Given how deeply badminton runs in the Malaysian spirit, it is only fitting that Highland 99 offers the most comprehensive badminton betting experience in the country. The platform provides full coverage of all major tournaments on the BWF calendar – from Super 1000 events like the Malaysia Open and Indonesia Open, to Super 500, Super 300, and of course the BWF World Championships and the highly anticipated Thomas & Uber Cup held every two years.
What sets Highland 99 apart from other platforms is the depth of its betting markets. It goes beyond simply picking a winner – you can bet on exact set scores, set handicaps, first set winner, total points in a set, and much more. This gives players who truly understand the game far more options to put their knowledge to work and make sharper betting decisions.
The in-play and LIVE betting features at Highland 99 rank among the best in the industry. As a match unfolds, odds are refreshed every few seconds based on real-time on-court conditions. If the favourite suddenly falls behind in the first set, their odds adjust upward automatically — giving sharp bettors the chance to get in at exactly the right moment. It's an experience you simply can't replicate with conventional betting.
On the convenience front, Highland 99 ensures all deposits and withdrawals can be handled easily using local Malaysian payment methods. Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, and FPX via Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks are all supported. The minimum deposit is RM 10, and winnings are processed within five minutes directly to your account. No long waits, no complicated procedures.
For players who want to stay on top of every match, Highland 99 also features a live score display with point-by-point animations updated in real time. No need to open another tab or hunt for sports news sites — everything you need is right there on the same platform. It's one of the things that makes badminton betting on Highland 99 a more focused and enjoyable experience.
Highland 99 also provides detailed player statistics to help you make more informed betting decisions. Win-loss records, performance on different surfaces, head-to-head results, and recent form — all of it is available and accessible before you place a bet. This isn't a platform that just hands you bare odds; it gives you the context to make smarter choices.
